What customers say

Ed goes above and beyond to provide good service. He also educates clients, with his expertise on the insects treated and the chemicals used. I appreciate that he knows the beneficial life out there (such as anoles), and takes care that they are left alone. He has shown particular kindness to me, in a very tough situation, and I will continue to recommend his service to neighbors.

Nancy H.Customer review

Ed was extremely knowledgeable about what he does, which I appreciate. Cannot say that about any other pest control company. On time, fair price (as quoted) and he took the time to get products safe for my pets!

Missouri City and the rest of Fort Bend

We work out of Missouri City and cover the communities around it. Iowa Colony sits in Brazoria County, which runs a different mosquito program, and that changes the treatment plan.

Questions

Pest control questions from Missouri City homeowners

What happens during the free inspection? +
We walk the perimeter and the interior, find where they are getting in and what is drawing them, then tell you what treatment the house needs. You get a price before any work starts, and that price is what you pay.
The city already sprays for mosquitoes. Why would I need treatment? +
Missouri City contracts a truck to spray the public right-of-way on Thursday nights, roughly 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, May through the first week of November. That covers streets and public drainage, not private property. The standing water breeding mosquitoes in your yard, in the gutters, plant saucers and low spots, never gets touched. That is the gap we treat.
Something is in my attic. Do you just get it out? +
Removal on its own only clears the wildlife that is in there now. The opening it used is still open, so another one follows the same route. The work that ends it is exclusion: sealing roof returns, soffit gaps, vents and chimney openings with heavy-gauge rustproof mesh so nothing can get back in.
I have pets and kids. What do you use around them? +
Tell us what is in the house before we start, and we will tell you exactly which product we are applying, where it is going and how long to stay off it. Two of our three reviews call this out by name. We would rather spend the extra five minutes explaining it than have you wonder.
What does it cost? +
General pest treatment is quoted per visit or on a quarterly plan. Wildlife exclusion and attic work are quoted per job, because the price depends on how many entry points there are and how much damage is behind them. Cash, check, card, ACH and online payment are all accepted.
Which areas do you cover? +
Missouri City including Sienna, plus Sugar Land, Iowa Colony and Arcola. If you are just outside that and in Fort Bend County, call and ask.
Are you licensed? +
Yes. Yellow Rose Pest and Wildlife Management holds Texas structural pest control license TPCL#0860510, issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture. The business is licensed, insured and bonded.
